Fulham vs Newcastle

Saturday 6th April, Kick-Off 15:00 GMT

  • Tip – Fulham to Win (7/5)

Newcastle are still well within the frame for another season of European football, and snatching the unlikeliest of victories in last week’s remarkable 4-3 comeback over West Ham has swung the momentum in their favour.

This was followed by a 1-1 draw in midweek against Everton – a fixture they were taking all three points from until the final two minutes of normal time.

Their stuttering form throughout the season – although partly due to a spate of injuries – has largely come away from home.

Across 14 fixtures on the road they have picked up just 11 points from a possible 39, allowing 32 goals in the process; the same as rock-bottom Sheffield United.

The Magpies have not tasted victory away from St James’s since mid-February, and they come up against a Fulham side who would rank seventh in the Premier League when isolating home results.

Only the three teams in the title race have conceded less goals on home soil than the Cottagers. Despite problematic results on the road in their previous two, they have scored six goals and conceded none across their last two at Craven Cottage.

At favourable odds of 7/5, everything points to Fulham continuing their stellar form in West London.

Wolves vs West Ham

Saturday 6th April, Kick-Off 15:00 GMT

  • Tip – Wolves to Win (147/100)

Wolves have the opportunity to once again move closer to the European spots after failing to do so in midweek.

Their share of the spoils away at Burnley will no doubt have left them ruing what could have been, but West Ham also drawing in their match against Tottenham has left the upper-mid-table race wide open for another week.

Therefore, Saturday’s meeting at Molienux carries even more significance, and one that Wolves will view as favourable given they have a game in hand over the Hammers.

A victory could move them level on points with West Ham in seventh, should fixtures elsewhere be kind. David Moyes’ side are winless in their last four, and may have one eye fixed on their trip to Leverkusen next week to face the Bundesliga leaders.

This will undoubtedly be a narrow result given their proximity to each other in the table, but we are happy to side with value and pick a Wolves victory at home.

Brighton vs Arsenal

Saturday 6th April, Kick-Off 17:30 GMT

  • Tip – Arsenal to Keep a Clean Sheet (7/4)

There isn’t much to say other than this is simply a must-win game for Arsenal. In fact, all of their remaining games will suffer from that ominous subtext, but they appear far more equipped to deal with those difficult moments compared with last season.

A trip to Brighton awaits on Saturday evening, and is viewed as one of a string of potentially problematic fixtures in their final run-in.

Although the Seagulls have fared positively in North London in recent head-to-heads, the same can not be said back on home soil; not since June 2020 have they beaten Arsenal on the South Coast.

Compounded by the fact Arsenal are the Premier League’s preeminent side on the road, unbeaten across 2024 so far and have conceded just four goals since the turn of the year – this appears a tall order for Brighton.

The Gunners’ 2-0 victory over Luton in midweek was their sixth clean sheet of 2024, a number we think they can stretch to seven on Saturday evening.
