  • Michael Smith to Beat Luke Humphries @ 2/1
  • Nathan Aspinall to Reach the Final on Night 10 @ 7/2

Premier League Darts Night 10 Preview

The Premier League Darts circuit arrives in Manchester for Night 10, with the table still evenly poised following Luke Humphries’ early exit last week.

‘Cool Hands’ remains top of the pile with 22 points in spite of being dumped out in his Night 9 quarter-final against Luke Littler, who moved within four points of Humphries in second.

That defeat hasn’t appeared to knock his confidence whatsoever, as he threw a remarkable 24 180’s on the way to clinching the German Darts Grand Prix title in Munich over the weekend.

Elsewhere, teenage sensation Littler Littler finally got his first nightly victory of the series in Belfast, moving level with Michael Van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall on 10 match wins in the process.

Two sensational 125 and 136 checkouts in the final saw him come from 3-1 down to topple Aspinall, and snatch second spot heading into Night 10.

In doing so, Littler’s outright Premier League Darts odds were slashed to 13/5, just behind World Champion Humphries who remains the favourite at 8/5.

Below you can find the state of play heading into Night 10, with Littler, Aspinall and Van Gerwen all vying to move within reach of Humphries.

Premier League Darts Night 10 Predictions and Betting

Micheal Smith vs Luke Humphries – Smith to Win

Although Luke Humphries failed to take up the opportunity to become the first player to win four consecutive Premier League nights, he bounced back in Germany in his 11th European Tour final.

He is rightly favoured to move clear of Van Gerwen for nightly supremacy, and given his form since his World Championship victory in the winter, you would be taking a significant risk betting against him.

However, Littler proved he is beatable last week in Belfast, albeit with their opening match going all 11 legs.

Twice these two have faced each other in the Premier League this campaign, and twice Humphries has prevailed. This does not bode well for Michael Smith, but the value lies firmly with the ‘Bully Boy’ at 2/1.

He is more than capable of inflicting another early exit on Humphries and both players need a deep run in Manchester after crashing out in their respective openers. Smith perhaps more so, who simply must get a win or two – and preferably a nightly victory – under his belt to remain in contention for a play-off spot.

Nathan Aspinall to Reach the Final

Nathan Aspinall’s recent from in the Premier League has helped to build considerable momentum, which he will hope to perpetuate on Night 10.

‘The Asp’ goes toe-to-toe with Rob Cross to open proceedings in Manchester, and ‘Voltage’ will likely be sick of the sight of him.

Cross has lost all four meetings between the two so far, and enters this latest instalment having crashed out in the quarter-final on the last three nights in a row. This should see Aspinall comfortably through to at least the semi-final.

Aspinall was gracious in defeat to Littler in last week’s final, which was his fourth of the series. Although he has tasted victory just once so far, he is well-positioned in the table at this moment in time, and will look to usurp Van Gerwen and Littler for a spot nearer the leader.

A run to the final is generously priced at 7/2 with Lucky Block, and Aspinall is riding a wave of confidence as of late which makes this a selection too tantalising to pass up.
